Tortellini Soup

I'm always on the lookout for quick, easy, healthy recipes. I made Taste of Home's Tortellini Soup for dinner one night this week, although I modified it just a little bit to fit our tastes, and added twice the vegetables. It was perfect for a cool, rainy day!

I am giggling so hard thinking about this: have you been thinking that I've been stalking you?

You see...I have a bad habit of opening 100 tabs in the same Firefox browser(okay not a 100 but right now, I have 10 internet tabs open and I just shut a couple). Sorry if I'm using the wrong terms. I am so not a computer person. Anyway, if I read something that I want to re-read later or if I come across a recipe that I want to copy and paste or if I want to remind myself to pay a bill, I open up that website...I keep those tabs up and just open up another one. Usually, I clear them out ever couple of days; however, this semester, I've been so disorganized. The three oldest of my current tabs/internet sites have been there for three weeks. Just now, I was going through them -- two recipes, some metric measurement conversions, a video I want to watch, two articles I want to copy and paste in Word, and your blog which I had read part 2 of your journey and I had kept it up so I would remember to keep reading.

Except I never took the time to look at the tabs until today. I was reading through some posts on your blog, and I saw the part where it shows your "traffic" or whatever you call it. You had so much traffic from France. I got to giggling so hard because it hit me that every time I opened up Firefox (several times a day), your website would pull up and I was "marked" in your traffic who knows how many times.

I am still giggling about what you must have been thinking about why I would be on your website several times a day and never comment. :-) It's a good thing we're good friends so you wouldn't be too nervous about the stalker possibility.

Anyway, I've read back through several posts, and it was neat for me to look back with you through the "thyroid" journey from the perspective of having found God faithful through the ups and downs. Praise the Lord. I love you, my friend.

You are TOO funny!!! I did notice alot of times that it showed you were on, but you know what I thought? I thought, "Karis is such a disciplined and organized person, that I bet she allows herself only a few minutes to read blog posts, and then gets straight back to work. So logically, in trying to read through a very long blog post, it would theoretically take you several times of visiting to make it all the way through." Does that make sense? You are so much more disciplined than I am - I have no idea how you juggle all you "hats" -wife, mom, housekeeper, French student. And I can tell you do it so well, and without complaining. I want to be like you when I grow up. :) I love you too, friend! P.S. I hope the traffic tracker doesn't make you uncomfortable. I kinda don't like it, because I don't want it to seem like a pride thing - like look at how many visitors I got. Since I am just getting started, I kinda wanted to know if anyone was reading, and where they were coming from. I hope that makes sense. :)
